Join us for our quarterly Service & Social event on Thursday, September 11th at Patroon Land Farm in Voorheesville, honoring September 11 Day of Service through meaningful community action.
Schedule & Flexible Participation Options:
- Morning Shift:9:00 AM to 12:00 PM – farm volunteer work
- Afternoon Shift:1:00 PM to 4:00 PM – continued farm activities
- Both Shifts:For those who want to maximize their service impact
Anthony will be present at both shifts alongside AmeriCorps VISTA members, continuing our tradition of collaboration between Peace Corps and AmeriCorps communities.
Lunch Break: We plan to enjoy lunch together at the outdoor pavilion at Thacher Park Visitor Center, which is just a mile from the farm – a perfect opportunity for fellowship and reflection on this day of remembrance.
This is an excellent way to honor the spirit of September 11th through community service while supporting the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
