Our next virtual meeting will be Tuesday, June 2nd at 7 pm. Zoom information is at the end of this email. We will be highlighting RPCVs during the COVID-19 pandemic response. Many RPCVs are doing their part to combat this virus whether they are on the front lines, volunteering at food distribution events or making face coverings. We are all in this together. At this meeting, we will have 4 RPCVs who will be sharing their experiences.
First will be Racey Henderson (RPCV Mauritania) who started Ndara in Central African Republic. She will share her Peace Corps experience, explain how Ndara was started and the newest project for face masks. https://www.ndaratibeafrika.com/
Then, we will have 3 RPCVs who will describe their PCV experiences, how they transitioned to their current health related jobs, what they’re doing on COVID-19 response, and the lessons and skills from Peace Corps that they’ve applied to their work on COVID-19.

We’ll also share the latest resources on job opportunities in NY State and CDC-Atlanta for contact tracing and other pandemic response.
