RPCVs Will Picnic in Adirondacks

The Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) of Northeastern New York will host a picnic in Johnsburg, NY, on Saturday, September 10th starting at noon. The gathering is an effort to reach out to those RPCVs residing in Glens Falls, Lake George, North Creek and other Adirondack towns and hamlets who have not previously engaged with the Albany based chapter of the National Peace Corps Association. Capital District RPCVs are welcome to come and meet & greet and share tales of overseas service with North Country RPCVs.

Hot dogs, hamburgers and the fixings as well as bottled water will be provided. Participants should bring any beverages and a dish to share. Bring lawn chairs and your favorite bug spray. The gathering is at a wooded rural camp with an outhouse on 32 acres near Crane Mountain & Garnet Lake.
