Sewie Pujah, a friend of Beth Deitcher (Namibia 2007-2010) is looking for input and assistance for a library project in Sierra Leone. Sewie was born in Bondea, Sierra Leone, grew up in the United States and is now living in Albany, NY. She has been collaborating with the chief of her village to develop the idea for this library project. Sewie is not affiliated with an NGO and is trying to figure out the best way to fund the library.

Date: March 13, 5-6:30 (Please arrive at College Park Hall by 4:45 to allow time to register and get settled at your table)
Purpose: To allow the students to experience, and learn from, networking (i.e., talking to employers/alumni for the purpose of learning about professions and building relationships). We are expecting 60 +/- 10 students to participate. Most will be underclass students but there will be seniors too. For most students, this will be the first time interacting with employers in a business setting. So, the students will be nervous, will not know what to do, but have enough courage to get out of their comfort zone and learn. Your role then is to encourage them and help them. They may need assistance with the introductions, asking questions, asking good questions, etc. Obviously, we also want you to provide them insight into your profession (e.g., international, volunteer/service, gap-year opportunities) and the working world.
