Lynn Minderman was kind enough to share her experiences as a PCV in Lesotho and talk to our group about the work she is doing through a 501(c)3 called Quolaquoe Mountain Connections. The organization’s mission is, “to benefit the people of Qholaqhoe, Lesotho by providing financial grants to fund education, cultivate sustainable farming practices, and to alleviate hunger.”

Lynn’s personal connection to the country and the orphanage, established during her time in the Peace Corps, drive her work and present an impressive example of what a small group of people can accomplish.

Lynn will be hosting our November meeting in Schodack Landing. If you didn’t get a chance to meet her, come on November 6…after you vote, of course.
